XXIV Congreso Latinoamericano de Parasitología FLAP 2017
Santiago de Chile 10-14 Diciembre
La Sociedad Chilena de Parasitología (SOCHIPA), tiene el agrado de invitarlo a participar en el XXIV Congreso Latinoamericano de Parasitología (FLAP XXIV), evento al cual esperamos asistan alrededor de 500 científicos, la mayoría de Latinoamérica y cerca de un centenar de otros países. Durante los 5 días del Congreso se desarrollarán Sesiones Plenarias, Mesas Redondas y Talleres sobre las parasitosis más relevantes de Latinoamérica y del mundo. Los Temas Libres se presentarán durante todo el Congreso en modalidad de Posters. Se han incluido en el Congreso algunos tópicos innovadores: calidad de vida y parasitosis, aspectos sociales de las enfermedades parasitarias, innovación en la enseñanza de la parasitología, cambios climáticos y parasitosis, técnicas aeroespaciales en el control de parasitosis y de vectores, nuevas parasitosis realidad o mito, redes electrónicas, su utilidad en la docencia e investigación en Parasitología, avances en el desarrollo de vacunas en Parasitología humana y veterinaria.
Nuestra Sociedad organizó el Primer Congreso FLAP en 1967 y el XII en 1995, ambos en Santiago de Chile. En base a esta experiencia y la innovación tecnológica de nuestro tiempo, queremos organizar un Congreso que no sólo sea recordado por su alto nivelo científico, sino por el desarrollo humano y la interrelación personal, base de toda sociedad. Por este motivo, habrá varias actividades sociales que permitan dar a conocer nuestro país, tanto en sus características regionales, culturales y de su folklore.
Tendremos el apoyo de diversas organizaciones nacionales e internacionales para poder organizar un evento que cumpla con los anhelos de todas las personas que se dedican al desarrollo de la Parasitología.
Con ese espíritu los invitamos a participar en el Congreso.

The Chilean Society of Parasitology has great pleasure of inviting you to join the XXIV Latin American Congress of Parasitology (FLAP XXIV). We hope that about 500 scientists will attend the meeting, the majority of Latin America and one hundred of other countries. During five days plenary sessions, round tables, and work-shops on the most important parasitic disease will be held. Free subjects will be presented as Posters during all the congress.
Innovative topics were included in the event: quality of life and parasitosis, social aspects of parasitic diseases, innovation in teaching parasitology, climatic changes and parasitosis, aerospace techniques in the control of parasitic disease and vectors, new parasitic diseases: reality or myth, electronic networks their usefulness in teaching and research in Parasitology, progress in the development of vaccines in human and animal parasitosis.
Our Society organized the first FLAP Congress in 1967 and the XII in 1995, both in Santiago de Chile. Based in this experience and technological innovation of our time, we want to organize an event that will be remembered not only for its high scientific level, but by human development and inter personal relationship, basis of any society. For this reason, there will be several social activities to publicize our country both in its cultural regional features and folklore.
We hope to have the support of several national and international institutions to organize an event that meets the aspirations of all people dedicated to the development of Parasitology.
